Driver mobile app
The AXIS TMS driver app, built for the cab
Drivers see the active order, the offers waiting on them, and every action they need on one screen — and each thing they do updates dispatch and the customer without a phone call.
Everything the driver needs, in six buttons
The design stays uncomplicated on purpose. A driver should be able to finish a stop without learning software.
- Easy homepage The driver sees the active order and any order offers on one screen, with six buttons underneath: communicator, make requests, ELD application, update status, scan documents, and search for loads.
- Update stops Drivers check in and out of stops, which updates customers and dispatch instantly, and enter quantity, pieces, weight, proof of delivery, and more.
- Get directions Selecting Get Directions on a stop launches Smart Truck Route GPS navigation rather than a consumer map app, so the route suits the vehicle.
- E-signature on stops When the setting is switched on from the web dashboard, the driver must collect a signature plus a first and last name from the shipper or receiver.
- Driver logbook Launch the AXIS TMS Logbook app, or enable your existing ELD provider and the driver app launches their app instead.
- Load search Drivers search over 150,000 orders posted daily from their current GPS position, and notify dispatch on the web end to take an order.
What the cab sends back
The app works hand in hand with the AXIS TMS Pro platform, so status changes, notes, signatures, and paperwork reach your dashboard on their own.
- Communicator A straightforward two-way chat between drivers and dispatch, management, and safety personnel, for the questions that do not warrant a phone call.
- Make requests Drivers raise requests from the app and each one lands on the Dispatch Dashboard, so office staff see what has been asked for and by whom.
- Receive order offers Order offers arrive from the dispatch department for the driver to accept or decline. Either way dispatch sees the status on the Pending Order page; accepting assigns the order and converts it into a running order.
- Scan and fax documents Drivers scan paperwork at the end of an order straight into the Document Inbox, which auto-compiles it onto the invoice. A fax option mimics a traditional fax for customers who still need one.
Run the fleet from wherever you are
Fleet managers reach real-time information about the fleet while they are out on the road: track trucks and drivers live, e-sign bills of lading, add check calls, and upload receipts from the same app the drivers use.
The most skilled driver for every load
The platform matches each load with a qualified driver based on expertise, location, and availability, and drivers do not have to key in information by hand to make that happen.
Flexibility, ease of use, and connectivity
Flexibility
The app adapts to the changing demands of the industry. On the road or in the office, you stay connected and in control of the operation.
Ease of use
The interface is designed so drivers can concentrate on driving rather than on navigating software. Plain navigation, few steps per task.
Connectivity
Real-time updates and communication tools put load assignments and live GPS tracking in front of everyone, from driver to dispatcher.
Available on iOS and Android
The AXIS TMS Pro driver app is free for your drivers and included with every plan. Install it on the phone they already carry.
